Monsoon Season - Take Care of Cough & Cold - Home Remedies.

For Cold:


Remedy 1) Get an instant relief through a cup of fennel tea. Add fennel seeds to the boiling water and boil for about 5 minutes. Then strain it and have.

Remedy 2) Get some fresh Ginger and put it in a juicer. Add some fresh lemon and some turmeric powder add honey or sugar as the ginger is hot in taste.

Remedy 3) Take a spoon of Turmeric and a glass of milk (hot without sugar). Eat Turmeric first followed by Milk at bedtime. Next morning you will feel good.

Remedy 4) Boil 1 tbsp of pepper powder in a cup of milk along with a pinch of turmeric. Add some sugar for taste. Drink this once a day for three days.

Remedy 5) Mix quarter teaspoon of cinnamon powder with one teaspoon of honey and have it in every few hours as soon as you feel a cold.

Remedy 6)  Mix 1/2 teaspoon of tulsi and ginger paste with 1 teaspoon of honey. This will be a very good fighter for infections.


For Cough:


Remedy 1) A spoonful of natural honey may be enriched with black pepper to be had twice a day.

Remedy 2) For night coughing, two tea spoons of raw honey taken after dinner will work significantly towards reducing cough.

Remedy 3) Lemon tea with a dash of ginger is the proven home remedy.

Remedy  4) Mix dry ginger powder with Jaggery and take twice daily for relief from cough.

Remedy  5) Burn a clove by stirring on a hot tava or pan. Keep this in the mouth and suck on it.

Remedy  6) Suck on 3 peppercorns(Kali Miri) with a pinch of black cumin seeds (shah jeera) and a pinch of salt.
