Sharman Joshi to perform at Belgaum to raise funds for school toilets

Belgaum Royals Round Table 205 in association with the Indian institute of Architects (IIA) will organize a live play after a long time in Belagavi. The play will be performed by Three Idiots fame Sharman Joshi and his team from 6pm to 9pm at VTU auditorium at Macche on Friday.

The surplus funds generated from the event will be utilized for Round Table India's 'Freedom Through Education' (FTE) project to build classrooms and toilet blocks at a school in Belvatti, 40 kms from Belagavi. IIA members will provide their services for the design of the school and toilet blocks.

Directed by Kedar Shinde, the play Raju, Raja Ram Aur Main has Sharman Joshi playing four roles. With Joshi at the helm, the production promises to be a laugh riot. It is a two-and-half-hour play and Sharman's energy will be all over the stage, a release said. Playing four strikingly different characters on the trot, Joshi's performance has been an instant hit with the audience in the past. FTE is Round Table India's national project which aims to educate underprivileged children by building infrastructure supporting their educational needs. Under FTE, Round table India has built 5,736 classrooms in 2,371 projects impacting 6.3 million children pan India. Belagavi Round Table has built six classrooms so far, four at Vantmuri and two at Kadoli.
